Untitled "Crutch" is about the emotional experience of a skateboarding injury, and it is made of a crutch, foot casting, and TV. This work of art is 5 feet and 8 inches, which is about my height. An imaginative self-portrait that is upside down, which is a metaphor for an uncomfortable position to be in. I used the TV as a crutch to support the crutch, and the screen is displaying a four-second loop animation of a person screaming — an intentional decision to reflect on how this person is stuck in never-ending pain.
